thanks ;)
I'm really enjoying being back in central London during the working day. This lunchtime I went for a stroll and 'discovered' leather lane market. Although I have a sneaking feeling that it has been getting on quite happily for some time without me. A great place for a falafel wrap and people watching.
I really enjoy the walk to the shops from my house, a country lane through the fields and no traffic to worry about. In all other respects though it's just an ordinary path with mostly nettles and brambles growing along each side.
Just lately though random patches of flowers have started to appear, cleared from the surrounding undergrowth. I strongly suspect that in my otherwise unassuming country village, a guerrilla gardener is secretly at work. Excellent, hats off to the Guerrilla Gardener of Palgrave.
Following a trip to the natural history museum our son has developed a fascination for dinosaurs. So I found myself on Youtube the other night looking for any dino videos. I came across the video below which was put together by a boy that I'd guess is about 10 who had been asked to do a project for school.
When I remember school projects it was a few rubbish drawings in a scrapbook that you showed to the class. But it looks like things have changed, this little fella's dad is a cgi-animator.
I hope he got an A+ !
My favourite part of the holiday was a trip up Cairgorm mountain in Scotland on the railway and then a visit to the loch. There was plenty of snow at the top.
Truly stunning scenery and I'd really love to go back in the summer.
Show us your dream winter escape.
